CALIPSO will perform a drag makeup maneuver on or after December 17th. Due to low solar activity, the maneuver may be delayed until January. T he ground track files will include the Leap Second at the end of December. A line with the time stamp '31 Dec 2008 23:59:60' will be in all ground track files that span this time. All entries after this time will properly account for the Leap Second.

The CALIPSO payload is in SAFE mode as of 5:37UT on August 26th. The payload should be back in data acquisition mode on August 27th at about 1400UT. A small inclination maneuver will be performed on October 1st, which will has the payload down for about 12 hours. The next DMU maneuver will be in mid-October.
