How to Receive CALIPSO Data

To receive data you must be a member of the Validation Team. To become a member of the Validation Team please visit the Getting Involved Page.

Once you contact the QPQ validation coordinator and your account is setup you will be sent a username and password to access the data catalog.

Use your username and the password to login to the Data Catalog of the CALIPSO Data Validation Site.

Then click the link Atmospheric Sciences Data Center.

This link will bring you to the NASA Langley Atmospheric Sciences Data Center (Distributed Active Archive Center) site.

Under the title Data & Documentation you need to go to the link Access Data and then CALIPSO The site will be password controlled. Once we confirm access to your data you will be given the password.
 

Since CALIPSO Launch Date is October 26, 2005, no data will be available until approximately 45 days after lauch.
